DeWitt Christian Church exists to live out the Great Commandment...“'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind', and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself'” Luke 10:27 (NIV); and, carry out the Great Commission in our communities and throughout the world...“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” Matthew 28:19, 20a (NIV).
Finding Faith, Finding Family
We are a loving fellowship, accepting everyone as they are. Our desire is to help people move from being a guest to being a participant
We love God and we enjoy showing our adoration through music, prayer, and the study of God’s Word. Our desire is to help people move from being a watcher to being a worshiper.
We are all becoming more and more like Jesus every day. We all have areas needing growth and development. Our desire is to help people move from being a seeker to being a maturing believer.
In the family of God, we all have responsibilities and gifts that help us contribute to the needs of others. Our desire is to help people move from being a consumer to being a contributor
It is not about us. It is about those who have not yet been found and brought into the family of God. Our desire is to help people move from being transformed to being a transformer of others.
