I can't believe it is almost spring! I'm not sure what happened to winter this year (though the warmer weather has been nice!). Below are some upcoming events as well as our Spring Calendar.

Friday Night Game Night - Friday, March 1st from 7pm to 9pm
Each month through May, we will be hosting a game night with video games, classic games, four square and more! Snacks will be provided. A great time for students to invite their friends!

Bowling Day - Saturday, April 20th from 10:30am to 1:30pm
Students are invited to lace up their bowling shoes and strike up some fun as we hit the lanes for a fun day of laughter and friendly competition. Cost is $14 and includes two hours of bowling, shoes, pizza and pop. It's a perfect opportunity to hang out, make new friends, and show off your bowling skills.

We are finishing up the Sermon on the Mount and will focus a few weeks on Easter before Spring Break. After Spring Break, we will start a new series titled GOAT. In today's culture, the term "GOAT" often refers to the "Greatest of All Time." In this series, we'll explore how Jesus truly embodies this title and delve into some of His most profound teachings.

Session 1: The GREATEST Commandment(s)
  • Big Idea: Jesus shows he's the GOAT as he sums up all of scripture in the two Greatest Commandments we can live out as a church and as individuals.
  • Question for Discussion: How can we incorporate the two Greatest Commandments into our daily lives?
Session 2: The Path to GREATNESS
  • Big Idea: Greatness requires elite skills, strength, confidence, and dominance. Let's explore how Jesus, the true GOAT, defines greatness.
  • Question for Discussion: How does Jesus' definition of greatness differ from the world's perspective?
Session 3: The GREAT Commission
  • Big Idea: Jesus commissions us to reach this world, and he walks in co-mission with us.
  • Question for Discussion: What are some ways we can actively participate in the Great Commission in our community?
Throughout this series, our students will be challenged to see Jesus as the GOAT and to live out His teachings in their daily lives.
"Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock." (Matthew 7:24-25, ESV)

Our kids need to see us living in a community with other believers. Strong friendships not only help you through the good days of parenting, they help you when times are tough. Get this resource here.
